Itinerary
If in Denmark a full week you could see quite a bit. Some points of interest could be Ribe, an old city in Jutland, Aarhus, the second biggest city, Odense, the third biggest and birth place of the story teller Hans Christian Andersen, Ærø, a scenic island with historical buildings. But it all depends on how far you wanna go and what you are into. It is possible to go by train but not cheap. Rental cars are also pricy compared to in the US. Private B&B's is a good option as hotels can be expensive. It should be possible to book from day to day at that time of year (the week after can b busy though as many Danish people have their fall vacation). Train to Munich will be a long journey - almost a full day - and probably not cheaper than flying. aIR Baltic should be fine. It is the Latvian flag carrier airline and a low-cost carrier and flies mostly Boeing on the longer flights and Fokker on the shortest. I don't think there is a direct flight with them from Copenhagen to Munich though. You will have to stop over in Riga probably.
